Our wedding invitation ornament
I first saw
this pinterest idea last year I knew I wanted to save it for a 2013 craft project. I bought one of the shatter proof craft ornaments from Michaels on Black Friday for super cheap. I took one of my wedding invitations and shredded it, then used a pencil to curl the strips. I took a piece of twine and the key adornment from one of the mason jar centerpieces that I used on our cocktail tables to decorate the top. The entire project cost less than a dollar and took about 15 minutes for a simple, but meaningful addition to our tree.
