Weekend Review.

This weekend was went by way too quickly...

On Friday R and I grabbed a beer at our favorite spot after a Target run.  They are distributing all over NC now and we had to try the new Oxbow Ale.

R purchased some really beautiful flowers and surprised me with them - it is a huge bouquet.

Saturday was a whirlwind - my best friend and her husband visited and we spent the whole day at the pool drinking white peach sangria.  R made some amazing burgers (recipe will be posted this week) and we played Cards against Humanity.  I have heard so much about this game and it did not disappoint.

I took a few photos and posted to instagram but I didn't take my phone out much on Saturday.  It was too hot and I don't like when my phone shows the high temp screen.

Sunday we went to my mom's for my niece's 9th birthday party.  It was a very low key family affair because she is having a big party next weekend.  My mom cooked way to much food, but it was delicious.  R and I came home and watched The Perks of Being a Wallflower, it was well worth the wait though I'm glad we saw went through netflix instead of going to the theater for it.

We also saw our first episode of Bar Rescue, a restaurant that isn't far from us was featured and we know someone who was at the new grand opening.  We may try to visit it soon, they had an incredible transformation.

I can not believe we start a new work week tomorrow.  Isn't it crazy how some weekends just disappear?
